After reading The Yellow Wall-paper, I felt very sad, depressed, and lonely. I think this picture represents the story very well, how that she has no way out of her life that she holds now. She can only think of the memories she used to have or even ponder on how life would be if she got better. The future is so close, yet so far away. And the picture symbolizes that the door is open a a little bit, but not far enough.

I like this photo, I understand the meaning behind it and some of the symbolism in the photo. The lighting is interesting as it spills through the doorway as well
